Bored as hell? Here’s some LA fun stuff comin up this weekend!
Friday, January 13
*Awesome LA street-turned-fine artist Sage Vaughn has his first solo exhibit of the year at Known Gallery. He’s made his reputation painting gangsta birds. It’s way cooler than it sounds, trust me.

DIY Banh Mi at Subway?
Right off the bat, let me tell you that this simply did not work.
A couple days ago, I had an undeniable craving for vietnamese baguette sandwich or Banh Mi. Since I was stuck at my office in Sherman Oaks, I was out of luck.

Veteran diplomat Richard Holbrooke died yesterday and his last words before going into a 21-hour surgery that did not save his life were, “You’ve got to stop this war in Afghanistan.”
Obama admin officials downplayed his statements simply dismissing them as a “joke.”
Peace. What a joke.
